Requires the Following Courses for
Unarmed Security Personnel
(100 hours)
- Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resusitation (CPR)
- Basic First Aid
- Introduction to Criminal Justice System
- Constitutional Law
- Criminal Law
- Domestic Violence
- Juvenile Issues
- Oral Communications
- Community Policing
- Cultural Diversity
- Crisis intervention
- Drugs and Alcohol Abuse
- Court Room Testimony
- Report Writing
- Interviews and Interrogation
- Use of Force
- OC Spray
- Boston Police Rule 400 – 400A
- NEW- Terrorism, risk issues facing the Security Officer and Supervisor.

- Use of Deadly Force
- Street Survival
- Prisoner control
- Firearm Training (one day at the range)
- Use of the Baton
